Pick Your Own

Our dedicated PYO patches are open between June and September. It makes for a lovely flower-filled activity, especially for kids.

The PYO patch is a separate cutting garden within the Farm. It is intended more as a fun thing to do than a way to buy premium flowers from us: the patch is small compared to our main flower field but from June to September you can usually find sweetpeas, pincushion flowers, larkspur, bishop’s flowers, cornflowers, sweet rocket, cosmos and in late summer, dahlias, rudbeckia, amaranth, grasses and tickseed. And most importantly you’ll have a relaxing time doing the picking!  We lend you a bucket or a jar to fill and some snips to cut the flowers with, and leave you to it.

Get in touch

No need to book - just turn up between 9-3 Monday to Saturday, pay at the Hut on entry. If you are coming far, we recommend ringing to check its open, as sometimes we close the patch for a day or two to let the flowers recover and grow back. Children must be supervised at all times. Well-behaved dogs on leads welcome. Pay at the Hut on entry (buckets £30, cup of flowers £15, jam jars for children £12). Travel buckets to take your flowers home in are available for £1.
